New Beginnings, an interactive exploration program for women in transition, provides participants an opportunity to explore new directions in their lives through an innovative, participatory series of workshops.
This five-session program works with women to create a personal vision and action plan; reconnect with their strengths, improve communication, conflict resolution and decision making skills; and positively move through transitions. Throughout these workshops, participants practice their new tools by completing weekly homework and taking steps towards at least one goal. After three months, the Project Coordinator will check in with each of the participants to see what additional assistance the New Beginnings graduates need to continue working towards their vision.
